  1. Just made it tonight, very yummy and not bland. I used chicken stock instead of water though. I only had 1/2 cup of quinoa so I cooked some couscous separately and added it afterward. This dish was light yet flavorful and I intend to make it again 🙂 Thanks Shira!

  2. Hi Shira thank you so much for sharing this recipe with us! I just tried it and it came out A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! you're definitely my favourite chef now♥ Greetings from Perú 🙂

  3. pretty easy to make. it tasted okay but it was kinda bland. not sure what else I can add…something was missing. maybe veg or chicken stock to cook the quinoa instead of water…

  4. I usually soak the quinoa the night before to "sprout" it and that helps get rid of all the bitterness than just washing it many times. I can't wait to try this recipe this weekend! Looks delicious!

  5. This is one of the few Quinoa cooking videos where I see sauteing the "grain" before adding the liquid! This is exactly how I cook it too and it makes for a wonderful Quinoa. 🙂

  6. Idk I'd probably have to add more seasoning to mine…maybe it's a southern thing. And you were scaring me with the knife. I was hoping you wouldn't cut your finger.

  7. Great recipe.I think you need to stress the idea of cross contamination with food.  you didn't properly sanitize your hands after handling the chicken.  You spread chicken juices over the pepper grinder and other misc. items, unless you washed your hands off camera.  I know that is what you will tell us.  People who watch this video won't even think about the dangers of raw chicken, they will just make the recipe and possibly make someone ill. Just an observation, no negative thoughts please, just trying to keep food safe for everyone.
