This Green Tea Lemonade Smoothie has a secret ingredient that helps improve your performance and keep your focus.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that it takes a little more effort to feel my best. When I was in my 20’s and 30’s, a missed nights sleep was a minor inconvenience. A poor diet – even for weeks at a time – was something I could quickly recover from.

These days, eating right and getting enough rest is more important because when either of these things are off – even slightly – everything suffers. I’m testy with the kids. When I sit down to work, everything takes twice as long. My creativity stuffers dramatically. I also find that the impact lasts much longer than it used to. I’ve found that smoothies are one of the easiest and most effective ways to give myself a lift. This Green Tea Lemonade Smoothie has my new favorite secret weapon – INVIA. Photo of INVIA supplement (You may remember this post where I introduced INVIA.) Guys, I am seriously in love with this supplement. Like, so in love, I don’t ever want to be without it. INVIA tastes amazing and comes in two flavors. I have used the Tea Lemonade, but the Mixed Berry is amazing too.

I have come to rely on my INVIA daily. The ingredients help to enhance my focus, so I like to take it just before I sit down to work. I’ve started skipping my second cup of coffee and drinking INVIA instead. It makes getting all the water I need in a day easy, and it doesn’t give me the jitters. Photo of Green Tea Lemonade Smoothie in a glass jar INVIA tastes great by itself, but I love adding it to my breakfast smoothies! With the addition of spinach, green tea, and a banana, you’ve got an easy breakfast that won’t weigh you down. (Feel free to add in a scoop of protein powder if you like.) In case you missed my first INVIA post, this supplement was developed by Dr. Robert Paual, a Board-Certified Clinical Neuropsychologist who specializes in adult brain function. Cognizin® Citicoline, which is a key ingredient in INVIA, has been proven to enhance memory and concentration in clinical trials among middle-aged women, older adults, and teens. (Ahem….not that we are middle-aged ladies. :)) Green Tea Lemonade Smoothie with lemons INVIA also has caffeine for an immediate energy boost, ornithine to help release stored energy, vitamins E, B6 and B12 to help the body combat free radicals. You can purchase INVIA directly from their website. They have a subscription membership options, which means re-ordering INVIA is one less thing you need to worry about. I like to keep a couple of their easy to use stick-packs in my purse so that I can add them to my water bottle when I need them.
